It should come as no surprise to long time readers that I’m covering this panel. I love the Avengers, but honestly, I’m thinking that this panel may be a lot of repeats of the one I just liveblogged. Sitting on the panel are Matt Fraction, Brian Michael Bendis, C.B. Cebulski, Nick Spencer, Jim McCann, and Tom Brennan. Join me in learning about what’s coming up for The Avengers, leading up to Fear Itself and beyond!

Bendis and Hitch will be releasing a title to coincide with Marvel’s Point One initiative, Avengers 12.1.

After Fear Itself, Bendis will be dealing with Space Knight continuity in Avengers.

New Avengers news: Bendis will keep going with his current story, with Nick Fury’s first Avengers, including Kraven, Namorita, and others.

Bendis is bringing back H.A.M.M.E.R.! Maybe we’ll finally find out what e acronym is for…

Moving on to secret Avengers, their stories will focus on Beast, Valkyrie, and Black Widow.

Brubaker’s Captain America in a story that will bring Bucky’s past as Winter Soldier coming back to haunt him.

In Fraction’s The Mighty Thor, he will have the Asgardian Gods face off against Galactus, who comes to eat Asgard!

Oh man, Matt Fraction just made an ICP joke!

McCann’s working on Hawkeye: Blindspot, which will conclude his run with Hawkeye. McCann promises to answer a lot of questions for long time Hawkeye fans!

And now, as in every Marvel panel, audience questions!

As I may have mentioned in the last liveblog, Bendis is promising to completely shake up the Avengers lineup as it ties in to Fear Itself.

Bendis’s Moon Knight is based in L.A., which I ink is a good move creatively. He’ll go back to something sort of like what he wrote in Daredevil, having a Kingpin for Moon Knight to face in L.A.

Bendis’ Avengers roster changes will include never-before-used Avengers.

Some Initiative members will be seeing some action in upcoming issues of Avengers Academy.

No plans for Deadpool being an Avenger. Thank god.

And that’s about all there is to come from the audience. Thanks for reading, be sure to catch up with me again for tomorrow’s panels!
